My friend, Gord Deyell, has partnered with me on several concerts in the past.
He’s very much at home with classical, jazz and contemporary music.
This time it’s all African-American Spirituals with Bible texts from the Exodus.
Everyone familiar with those songs knows there will also be a connection to Jesus!
Of course you likely know “Go Down, Moses”
or He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,
or Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen
or Swing Low, Sweet Chariot…
Those are only a few of the spirituals in the program led by soloists and musicians.
It would be so nice to see you at the concert, and of course you’re welcome to bring along family and friends!
